The Derbyshire Children's Partnership was established in March 2017, and replaces the Derbyshire Children's and Young People's Trust Board.

The Derbyshire Children's Partnership will also bring together and support the chairs of each locality children's partnership. There are seven locality children's partnerships covering:
- Amber Valley
- Erewash
- South Derbyshire and South Dales
- Chesterfield
- North East Derbyshire and Bolsover
- High Peak and North Dales
- specialist provision (for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities)
